The Role

The Head of Marketing is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, CA, responsible for leading Conduit’s overall marketing strategy and execution. This role demands a content generation machine who oversees brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for the Conduit platform, working closely with sales, product, and leadership teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include video and content creation, developing integrated marketing campaigns, managing market research initiatives, guiding content and PR efforts, and optimizing demand generation programs. Your North Star is to make Conduit a household name.

What you'll do

  • Own Conduit's marketing strategy end to end, from brand positioning and messaging to go-to-market planning.

  • Develop and run integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, pipeline, and revenue across the manufacturing and industrial automation sectors.

  • Lead demand generation programs, continuously optimizing channels and spend against pipeline and revenue targets.

  • Direct content and PR efforts, including social media, thought leadership, email campaigns, media outreach, and a consistent brand voice across every channel.

  • Manage market research initiatives to understand customer needs, competitive dynamics, and industry trends, and translate findings into sharper positioning.

  • Partner closely with sales, product, and leadership to align marketing with pipeline generation, product launches, and company priorities.

  • Analyze performance metrics and use data to refine campaigns, messaging, and overall marketing plans.

  • Build, mentor, and scale the marketing function as Conduit grows across facilities and customers.

Who You Are

  • Willingness to build and lead a grassroots marketing team — you can both set strategy and roll up your sleeves to execute.

  • Experience marketing across all mediums including social media platforms, PR / comms, and and live events, and the ability to generate real traffic and drive measurable success outcomes from them.

  • The ability to generate viral-worthy marketing assets including photo and video.

  • Experience with market research to analyze customer needs and competitive landscapes, and form a clear point of view on industry trends.

  • Ability to develop data-driven campaigns, interpret performance metrics, and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Excitement to work onsite in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Drawn to the work of rebuilding American manufacturing.
